Last month, I packed up the family for Spring Break and drove 11 hours to my hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee.    Nothing says Spring Break like fall, winter and spring all wrapped up into one week.  I’m serious, it snowed!  I always try and schedule a couple of sessions during my visits, but thanks to the unpredictable weather they don’t always work out.  This one did work out and the weather was awesome!

I love downtown Clarksville and was really excited to walk around and find places to shoot.  I also love photographing kids, and  watching these two start the session shy but end up excited and giggly by the end of it was the best.  I’ll take that energy as a compliment!

  1. Courtney, they are absolutely gorgeous pictures of the girls. You did a remarkable job with them. They are truly a treasure and I hope to be ordering some with Natalie.
You have such a gift 🙂
What a talent it takes to grab that smile, that pose, that personality of each girl. You have been blessed with patience and talent. Thanks for letting me be part of that day with you and the girls.
Most of all, thanks for sharing the pictures of your beautiful children. I am always delighted to see them on Facebook.
Hope to see you again this summer 🙂
    Denise 🙂

One of the big reasons why I love moving back to my home state is because I finally get to photograph all of my friends and family.  No more “if
