Last month my family was one of those lucky groups of people who were invited to attend the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll.

The White House selects the participants through a lottery.  I can’t even explain to you the shock that I went into when I got that email saying that we were chosen.  My next question was what their camera restrictions were.  Turns out there were none!  Sweet!

The event was very organized and there was no way that we could participate in every activity during our 2 hour time slot.  Guess that means that we’ll apply again next year!  We didn’t see Barack Obama or Michelle but we did see their oldest daughter.  She was hanging out and playing along with everyone.  We also saw a few other fancy people.

Good times!

This is China Anne McClain.  If you have a child who watches The Disney Channel then you can imagine how excited my daughter was to watch her preform on stage.
